Paging

Document Storage

Digitech's SecureDocs™ is a value-added document imaging service for EMS providers to store, view and associate documentation instantaneously to trips in Digitech's Ambulance Commander's® EMS billing system via the Net.

SecureDocs™ replaces paper based filing systems with electronic images of documents such as ACRs by electronically storing documents directly to the appropriate trip record. Users simply fax or scan documentation to Digitech's EMS billing system. Then, SecureDocs™ enables users to automatically associate the documentation with the appropriate trip record. Documents can easily be retrieved for viewing, printing and emailing, saving users valuable time and expense.

SecureDocs™ gives companies a complete audit trail and ensures minimal loss of documents that could occur with paper-based filing. In addition, SecureDocs™ meets HIPAA security standards, a requirement for EMS providers. The primary benefits of SecureDocs™ are reduced administrative time, HIPAA privacy and security compliancy, no capital investment and reduced costs associated with paper storage.

Using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and barcode technologies, all communications remain completely secure and available 24x7 on redundant servers maintained, backed up and managed by Digitech.
