Document Storage
Digitech's SecureDocs™ is a value-added document
imaging service for EMS providers to store, view and
associate documentation instantaneously to trips in
Digitech's Ambulance Commander's® EMS billing system
via the Net.
SecureDocs™ replaces paper based filing systems
with electronic images of documents such as ACRs by
electronically storing documents directly to the
appropriate trip record. Users simply fax or scan
documentation to Digitech's EMS billing system. Then,
SecureDocs™ enables users to automatically associate
the documentation with the appropriate trip record.
Documents can easily be retrieved for viewing, printing
and emailing, saving users valuable time and expense.
SecureDocs™ gives companies a complete audit trail
and ensures minimal loss of documents that could occur
with paper-based filing. In addition, SecureDocs™
meets HIPAA security standards, a requirement for EMS
